Kubernetes Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Kubernetes Engineer to assist Application/Data teams in managing and optimizing Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for software installation, upgrades, configuration, and system monitoring
• Manage and upgrade OpenShift and Mirantis Kubernetes engine, implementing automation tools for deployment and monitoring
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and scaling cloud infrastructure, participating in production support activities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in server builds, Kubernetes, and Docker, preferably with Mirantis and OpenShift
• Proficiency in Python and/or Shell Scripting and Linux
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Bachelor's degree required; relevant work experience may substitute for degree
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
