Lab Manager II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lab Manager II to oversee and maintain a complex test lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee lab and all networking gear, including switches, routers, hardware servers, and virtual machines
• Work with QA/Dev teams to ensure lab equipment is configured, updated, and maintained
• Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets and monitor lab infrastructure for faults and failures

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a related field and a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with networking devices, hardware servers, and virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and server management
• Experience in capacity planning and translating development and QA requirements into infrastructure delivery
• Experience with automation tools and scripting, such as Bash or Python
