Lead Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to oversee the development and architecture of backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Design, develop, and operate scalable microservices and build REST APIs/GraphQL services using AWS technologies
• Work in an Agile team to deliver service features from design to production deployment

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience building REST APIs/GraphQL for data-heavy applications
• Proficiency in AWS Services (Lambda, API Gateway) or equivalent
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and/or Go
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
