Lead and develop a team of actuaries to drive value-based care initiatives within Aetna.
Utilize expertise in actuarial science to develop and implement data-driven strategies for value-based care.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze key trends and drivers in the healthcare industry.
Evaluate and monitor the performance of value-based care programs, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships with providers and healthcare organizations.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to value-based care.
Develop and present reports and presentations to senior leadership on the performance and impact of value-based care initiatives.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation through the use of actuarial tools and techniques.
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in value-based care and actuarial science.
Contribute to the overall strategic planning and vision for Aetna’s value-based care approach.
Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of value-based care initiatives.
Represent Aetna at industry conferences and events to share insights and best practices on value-based care.
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to value-based care.
Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the actuarial team.
Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on value-based care within the organization.
