We provide comprehensive care through every recovery stage-from detox to rehab and therapy. We’re hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team and support our commitment to high-quality patient care.
As LPN, you will deliver personalized nursing care under the supervision of an RN, using recognized techniques and standards. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team and further develop your clinical skills.
Shift Options:
• Full-time: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7-7:30)
• Part-time: 2 x 12-hour shifts (7-7:30)
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications in line with Safe Nursing Practice standards, per physician orders.
• Educate patients about medications, document responses, and report any abnormalities to an RN or physician.
• Maintain accurate records of patient activities, including admissions, discharges, transfers, and emergency visits.
• Track patient progress in detox and document responses.
• Communicate patient progress with the treatment team and report abnormalities.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and record vital signs based on treatment plans.
• Collect data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, including census, risk management, and incident reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with addiction treatment experience preferred.
Skills:
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
