Manager of Value-Based Contracts

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Value-Based Provider Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Provider Contracting functions and daily operations of the department
• Negotiate and implement complex contracts with various healthcare providers
• Develop and monitor strategies to minimize financial exposure and ensure compliance with APM requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience in Healthcare Administration, Managed Care, or Provider Contracting, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• 3+ years of experience in provider contract negotiations in a managed healthcare setting
• Working knowledge of various managed healthcare provider compensation methodologies
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing or supervising employees
