Mechanical Structures Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Structures Design Engineer to support the design and development of spacecraft structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Create product specifications and negotiate design details based on program requirements
• Assist in the oversight for the integration of subcontracted hardware into spacecraft systems
• Generate engineering drawings and models using Creo and other design tools

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field
• 2 years of related experience in engineering or manufacturing for spacecraft, aircraft, or automotive
• Experience with piece part and subassembly modeling in CREO or other CAD software
• Master's degree may account for two years of experience
