Medicaid Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicaid Billing Representative to manage claims submitted to Medicaid.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on claims that are pending, denied, or incorrectly paid by Medicaid carriers
• Review and address issues causing claims to be on hold
• Provide necessary information to Medicaid for claim processing and handle correspondence

Required Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
• Experience in a performance-metric-driven environment is preferred
• Ability to manage large volumes of work under tight deadlines
• Experience handling refunds and correspondence related to claims
