Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Underwriter, Remote in Central Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess medical risk and determine insurability based on underwriting guidelines
• Review and analyze medical history and evidence of insurability
• Communicate decisions and respond to internal and external queries

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an individual health insurance underwriter
• Experience working as a telecommuter
• Proficiency in medical terminology and vendor systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and TEAMs
• Must reside in the Central Time Zone
