Metabolic Surgery Clinical Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Clinical Reviewer.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and submit data to the ACS NSQIP and MBSAQIP databases for eligible surgeries
• Collaborate with the Department of Surgery to identify clinical quality improvement opportunities
• Engage in special projects as identified by the department

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Certification in ACS NSQIP/MBSAQIP or recent re-certification as SCR/MBSCR
• RHIA, RHIT, LPN/LVN, RN, or BSN preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in a hospital surgery department or related field
• Recent experience in data abstraction/collection for ACS NSQIP/MBSAQIP
