MySQL Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a MySQL Database Administrator (DBA) Level 3 - DBaaS.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize MySQL instances in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance
• Implement disaster recovery strategies and maintain security and compliance for databases
• Automate workflows and mentor junior DBAs while participating in on-call support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA, with at least 4 years in DBaaS/cloud environments
• Expertise in MySQL architecture, including InnoDB and replication
• Proficiency in scripting (Python/Shell) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
