New York Licensed Policy Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Policy Review Specialist responsible for retaining policyholders and improving overall retention of the customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place outbound calls to customers regarding policy renewals and targeted book roll activities
  • Analyze customer insurance coverage and suggest changes to retain and grow the existing customer base
  • Track quote activity and generate periodic reports summarizing results for management
Required Qualifications
  • Associates degree and 2+ years' experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Current NYS Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license
  • Proficient PC skills, with knowledge of insurance administration software preferred
  • Self-directed with good decision-making and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate by phone
