Patient Account Lead Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Lead Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee insurance follow-up and collections, managing complex accounts and resolving aged inventory
• Provide coaching and training to staff, including new hires, and assist with special projects
• Participate in meetings and training to enhance job knowledge and communicate issues to management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 3-6 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance-related collections
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Familiarity with UB-04, CPT, and ICD-9 codes
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in PC and MS Outlook
