Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve patient accounts, ensuring timely collection of uncollected balances
• Document account activities and communicate with third-party payors and patients as needed
• Maintain productivity goals while identifying and escalating issues related to account resolution

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate patient accounting applications
• Intermediate knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid collections
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
