Patient Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Advocate - Tissue Team (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing services for patients by reviewing test request forms and medical documentation
• Work with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure accurate documentation and coverage
• Communicate with patients regarding insurance benefits and testing information

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree and over one year of customer service and reimbursement experience preferred
• Proficiency in PC applications, including Excel and Word
• Typing skills of at least 50 words per minute
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure
