Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Services Intermediate/Referral Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain, process, and track insurance referrals and authorizations for outpatient procedures
• Provide information and support to referring physicians, consumers, and healthcare professionals
• Manage daily work queues and MiChart schedules to identify services needing approval

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in a customer service setting
• Experience in a hospital business office or related setting
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Basic computer literacy with typing accuracy and speed
