Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time Nonprofit Organizations/Tax-Exempt Attorney.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal assistance to nonprofit organization clients by reviewing, drafting, and finalizing various legal documents
• Research relevant federal, state, and local laws pertaining to nonprofit governance and compliance
• Manage client projects, timelines, and budgets while collaborating with the legal team and outside counsel

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree required and must be licensed to practice law in the U.S. and in good standing
• Mandatory license to practice law in Pennsylvania, with additional state licenses preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in nonprofit, tax, or corporate law
• Demonstrated interest in serving nonprofit organizations through pro bono work or volunteerism
• Comfortable with diversity and inclusive practices reflecting the values of the firm
