Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal AV Safety Engineer specializing in SOTIF and Human Factors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess hazards related to human factors in automated driving systems
• Perform risk assessments and support safety analysis for human interfaces
• Develop safety requirements and assist in the execution of safety audit programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, Safety, or System Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in human factors engineering or systems engineering
• Experience in developing and evaluating human interfaces
• Familiarity with ISO/PAS 2144 and hazard analysis techniques like STPA and FTA
• Real-time operations experience in complex systems with high consequences of failure
