Principal Engineer, Data Platform

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Team Lead- Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers while managing project timelines and deliverables
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines using cloud ETL technology
• Write high-quality code for processing large volumes of data and conduct system design reviews

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or data pipeline engineer
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
• Expertise in Python programming and AWS services (EKS, Lambda, ETL)
• Experience in distributed system design and leading projects from inception to production
• Experience in people management is a plus
