About the position

The Product Principal for MarTech will play a crucial role in supporting the end-to-end marketing technology ecosystem. This position requires a deep understanding of the requirements and needs across all users and channels, which will help in defining the strategy and collective set of products and tools that will serve customer and user needs effectively. The Product Principal will facilitate the execution of roadmaps across various products and tools, ensuring that all aspects of the marketing technology landscape are aligned with the overall business objectives. As a product practitioner with extensive expertise in MarTech, the Product Principal will bring a product mindset and thought leadership to the organization. This role involves coordinating with Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and impacted teams to ensure that the path to scope is well understood and aligned. The Product Principal will review recommended solutions and the work of the product team to ensure that the products developed are in line with the priorities of the company, stakeholders, and end users. In terms of strategy and planning, the Product Principal will partner with either a Cross-Functional Program or Technology Portfolio to align outcomes effectively. This includes cascading context up to leadership and strategy down to balanced teams using Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). The role also involves leading cross-functional discovery efforts by collaborating with UX Principals, Distinguished Engineers, and balanced teams. The creation, coordination, and sequencing of activities will be essential to ensure alignment across impacted teams, providing visibility of the work through a holistic roadmap that includes dependencies. Additionally, the Product Principal will partner with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery. This role fosters collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value and identify and resolve impediments. Managing cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations is critical to ensure that scoping aligns with product strategy, and providing education to requestors will help determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews recommended solutions and work of product team to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder and end user priorities.

• Partners with either a Cross-Functional Program or Technology Portfolio to align outcomes.

Requirements
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
,
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
,
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in a related field.
,
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• 2+ years of previous leadership experience.

• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementation and integration experience.
