Job Description:
We are Hiring Immediately for a Production position!
Position Summary:
As a Production Group Lead, you will be responsible for supervising all Production Line Leads and coordinating with the Production Manager to drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You will play a key role in training, coaching, and developing team members while ensuring all production goals and safety standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage day-to-day production schedules and activities
• Oversee Line Leads and production staff to ensure smooth operations
• Partner with the Production Planning team to ensure timely material deliveries
• Coach, train, and develop production personnel and Line Leads to achieve performance objectives
• Participate in budget management and optimize the use of operational resources
• Support and help develop company-wide safety programs and ensure full compliance with safety and corporate policies
• Lead by example, demonstrating strong interpersonal communication across departments and levels of leadership
• Address and resolve production issues efficiently, including identifying defects or inefficiencies on the production line
• Maintain accurate time management to meet all shipping and production deadlines
• Collaborate with other department managers to align production efforts with broader company goals
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in a similar environment
• Forklift Certification required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• Must be an energetic and positive team player who takes pride in their work and the success of the company
Additional Employment Details:
• Probation Period: 90 days
• Employment Type: At-Will
• Dress Code: Appropriate to position – see Supervisor for guidelines
• Footwear: Slip-resistant shoes required in all manufacturing areas
• Availability: Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Compliance: Must participate in and adhere to all company policies and safety regulations
Schedule and Compensation:
This is a 1st shift position, with a pay range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
