About the position

As a Ramp Agent at Delta Air Lines, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of cargo and baggage. Responsibilities
• Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft.

• Guide incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions to ensure timely connections.

• Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather.

• Drive and operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas.

• Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage.

Requirements
• Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

• Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.

• Have a valid driver’s license.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Pass a physical ability test (PAT).

• Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
