Remote HIMS Assistant Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Supervisor - HIMS Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and staff within the work unit to support institutional and departmental directives
• Support continuous improvement efforts and suggest enhancements to workflow and productivity
• Assist with statistical data for providers and leadership, and attend necessary meetings

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of health information experience required
• Associate degree in a health care field or business preferred for HIMS Operations
• Experience with dictation, computer, and transcription equipment required in Documentation Services
• Applicable AHIMA, HIMSS, AHDI, CHDS, and RHDS credentials preferred; RHIT or RHIA certification preferred
