Senior COBOL Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cobol Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure program execution and set up for removal if necessary
• Generate a specification/cross-reference document and convert the program
• Conduct smoke tests, peer and DBA walkthroughs, and unit tests, documenting results

Required Qualifications

• Experience in COBOL programming with the ability to write and debug code
• Knowledge of Assembler language
• Familiarity with tools such as ISPW, Eclipse, Topaz, Abend Aid, File Aid, and Expedite
• Basic knowledge of Linux commands
• Experience in C programming
