Senior Data Privacy Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Privacy Officer to lead global privacy initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data protection policies and procedures across multiple jurisdictions
• Conduct gap assessments and map personal data flows, defining roles in various countries
• Collaborate with IT and Product teams to embed privacy by design principles and oversee data localization projects

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data privacy, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
• Deep understanding of global data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PDPA)
• Proven track record of building or scaling privacy programs
• Professional certification such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM
• Fluent in English and Russian; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
