Senior Electrical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join their Power Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical designs and 3D models for power generation projects using SmartPlant3D and Navisworks
• Generate raceway, lighting, and power plan drawings from 3D models and perform calculations for conduit and cable tray systems
• Coordinate with project teams and act as a field resource to assist construction with on-site issues

Required Qualifications

• At least 8+ years of experience in electrical component and systems design
• Highly proficient with 3D modeling, preferably using SmartPlant3D
• Experience in power generation electrical design is preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment
• Strong mentoring skills for junior designers
