Senior QC Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior QC Underwriter responsible for auditing various loan types to ensure compliance with investor quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-funding quality control reviews of loans from Retail and Correspondent divisions
• Participate in remediation of identified defects with Operations and Correspondent Sellers
• Monitor QC project pipelines and analyze reports to ensure deadlines are met

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of mortgage industry experience, including 5 years in Quality Control and Underwriting
• Demonstrated understanding of mortgage lending operations related to Quality Control
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines, and TRID
• Basic knowledge of fraud detection
