Senior Software Engineer (Data)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Data).

Key Responsibilities

• Build foundational capabilities using domain-driven design and test-driven development for CBS Sports properties
• Lead the design, development, and optimization of core sports GraphQL subgraphs and services
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and practice DevOps with continuous deployment and monitoring

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering focused on data and data system development
• Experience in designing and maintaining GraphQL schemas and optimizing query performance
• Proficiency in Javascript/TypeScript, Python, and Node.js
• Hands-on experience in a distributed cloud-based environment, preferably AWS
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical degree, or equivalent professional experience
