Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable, secure, and reliable API-based backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and observable systems by designing and developing high-performance, API-based backend services
• Own production systems, ensuring health and uptime while participating in on-call rotations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineering teams to define technical requirements and design systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on large-scale and highly available systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• In-depth experience with RESTful APIs and solid understanding of databases, caching strategies, and messaging systems
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
