Social Media Director – Remote

Are you ready to take the reins of high-impact media buying in a rapidly growing agency? A US-based performance marketing agency, specializing in paid social media buying, growth strategy, creative strategy, and creative editing, are looking for a Director of Paid Social.
Since its inception, the agency has consistently scaled every D2C brand partner profitably, with a results-driven culture that prioritizes maximizing client retention. They focus on building efficient processes and achieving client KPI goals, creating a fulfilling work environment where every hour counts, despite being remote. YOUR MISSION
You will lead the development and execution of high-impact strategies across platforms like Meta and TikTok, driving exceptional performance and helping their clients achieve their business goals. In this leadership role, you will help build and scale the agency’s paid social operations, cultivate a culture of innovation and accountability, and set the strategic direction for paid social efforts to ensure long-term success for clients and the agency. The working timezone is around PST.

HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME
Develop and implement high-impact paid social strategies that align with client objectives, ensuring campaigns consistently deliver on performance goals and audience engagement
Lead the agency’s vision for paid social, incorporating cutting-edge industry trends, platform updates, and emerging tools to maintain a competitive advantage
Establish scalable frameworks and best practices for media buying, enhancing efficiency and driving superior campaign performance
Mentor and lead a high-performing paid social team, instilling accountability, innovation, and collaboration to achieve outstanding results
Build robust testing frameworks that continuously improve campaign performance and elevate client outcomes through data-driven insights
Partner with creative teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure campaign strategies are aligned and deliver exceptional outcomes
Embed adaptability and a data-centric mindset within the team, driving ongoing enhancements to execution and maintaining leadership in the paid social landscape
WHO YOU ARE
Experience: You have 6+ years of hands-on experience in paid social advertising, with deep expertise across Meta and TikTok. You’ve scaled accounts with $500k+ monthly spend and know how to deliver results at scale.
Strategic Operator: You’re skilled at leading media buying operations, from setting strategy and building workflows to resource planning and optimizing team performance.
Data-Led: You’re fluent in metrics like ROAS, CPA, CTR, and LTV, and use data to drive decisions, optimize campaigns, and uncover growth opportunities.
Creative Thinker: You understand the intersection of strategy and creative, and you know how to brief, test, and iterate on assets that perform in paid social environments.
Team Leader: You’ve led and mentored teams, instilling a culture of accountability, experimentation, and high performance.
Communicative & Collaborative: You’re confident presenting to clients and aligning cross-functional teams, and you thrive in fast-paced, remote-first environments.
Self-Directed: You’re proactive, organized, and highly reliable. You take full ownership of your work and drive projects from concept to execution with minimal oversight.
