Software Engineer II (COBOL)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II (COBOL).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data to improve processing capabilities and ensure accuracy
• Test systems for new software installations and modifications, and develop applications using COBOL and related technologies
• Provide technical support and collaborate with business units to enhance processing capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in application software programming, or a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience
• Preferred areas of study include Computer Science
• Experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Scripting
• Knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodologies like Waterfall and Agile
• Ability to be on call 24/7 on a rotating basis
