Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder I.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize ICD-10 and CPT classification systems in accordance with official coding guidelines
  • Adhere to Health Information Management Department policies and procedures during coding tasks
Required Qualifications
  • Must possess a coding credential from AHIMA and/or AAPC
  • Relevant experience in medical coding is preferred
  • Knowledge of official coding guidelines is essential
  • Familiarity with Health Information Management practices is beneficial
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
