Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Platform & Architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect the platform by defining and evolving the technical direction for core systems
• Raise the engineering standards by implementing service boundaries, observability, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Mentor and uplift engineers, run design reviews, and lead cross-functional initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating at a Staff level or higher for several years
• Proven success in designing extensible and composable service architectures
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript & Node.js, with familiarity in other languages like Go, Rust, or Python
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with observability and reliability engineering practices
