Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Medical Affairs).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and oversight for CVS Health's clinical programs and consultative activities across the PBM
• Conduct medication utilization reviews and manage medical necessity appeals for various client programs
• Engage in special clinical investigations and research as directed by senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board Certification
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in direct patient care
• 2 or more years of experience in clinical outcomes with knowledge of medical statistics and regulatory agencies
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the candidate's state of residence
• Graduate of an accredited Medical School and Residency Program
