Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Design Engineer for a remote position in Jacksonville.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and check building components, ensuring compliance with industry codes and specifications
• Generate shop fabrication documents and address inquiries from the fabrication facility
• Coordinate with project managers and maintain schedules to meet customer requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of applicable specifications and codes (SJI, SDI, AISC, AWS)
• Experience with design software and tools for building components
• Ability to work collaboratively with design teams and other stakeholders
• Entry-level position, suitable for recent graduates or those with limited experience
