Texas Licensed Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor to provide support and coaching for individuals dealing with alcohol use disorder in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new members and formulate care plans based on standardized assessments
• Facilitate individual coaching sessions and manage a caseload of members to monitor health outcomes
• Develop new clinical tools and collaborate with team members to enhance member engagement and care

Required Qualifications

• Certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, recognized by IC&RC
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
• Preferred BA/BS or MA in a related field
• Experience with EMR systems and telehealth applications
• Knowledge of evidence-based SUD treatment programs and harm reduction models
