Thermal Hydraulic Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Thermal-Hydraulic Software Analysis Engineer for a long-term remote contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thermal hydraulic analysis and engineering calculations for nuclear reactor core components and structures
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to analyze thermal and mechanical design considerations
• Prepare reports and technical presentations to document findings and recommendations

Required Qualifications and Skills

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, or relevant Engineering field
• 6+ years of experience with a B.S. degree, or 3+ years with an M.S. or Ph.D. in the relevant industry
• Strong background in nuclear thermal-hydraulics analysis and engineering calculations
• Proficiency in Python and Java scripting, with C++ programming experience preferred
• Experience in the nuclear industry and knowledge of liquid metal thermal-hydraulics is preferred
