Veterinary Pathologist License Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pathologist to diagnose diseases in companion and laboratory animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Describe and interpret cytologic preparations and generate pathology narrative reports
• Consult with Veterinarians regarding diseases detected in samples and provide medical second opinions
• Stay current on veterinary practices and participate in quality control and pathology rounds

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
• Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Pathologists
• Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the respective state
• Previous experience in a lab environment is a plus
• Familiarity with Dragon software and Dicom viewers is a plus
