As a Virtual Patient Information Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our home health services. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently maintaining patient and medical records, scheduling appointments, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers. This is a remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update patient records and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with healthcare providers
• Communicate with patients and healthcare providers via phone and email to confirm appointments and provide necessary information
• Ensure all patient information is securely stored and handled according to HIPAA regulations
• Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services to patients
• Monitor and respond to incoming emails and messages promptly

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or administrative role preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Reliable internet connection and home office setup
