Workers Compensation Claims Examiner (CT)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a New England Workers Compensation Claims Examiner.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to ensure timely resolution by investigating and gathering necessary information
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates with claimants and clients

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Knowledge of jurisdiction laws for CT, MA, NH, RI, VT
• Licensing in CT, RI, NH, VT, or ME (only one state required)
