About the position
As the YouTube Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Audience Development Strategy, focusing on growing segmented chronic condition audiences through engaging video content. You will be responsible for developing and executing video strategies that resonate with our audience, drive engagement and maximize reach.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube video strategy that leverages both long-form and short-form content to drive audience engagement and retention.

• Establish clear content objectives based on data-driven insights, SEO best practices and audience behavior to increase subscriber growth and video engagement.

• Analyze video performance data to derive actionable insights and refine content strategies.
,
• Ideate and oversee the production of high-performing long-form and short-form videos that align with audience development campaigns.
,
• Build treatment decks and video briefs that clearly communicate creative vision, storytelling approach and engagement tactics for campaigns and ongoing video series.
,
• Optimize scripts, thumbnails and metadata for the YouTube algorithm to enhance discoverability and engagement.
,
• Work closely with video production teams to ensure high quality execution of video concepts.
,
• Stay ahead of health trends, viral content and YouTube best practices, proposing fresh socially native storytelling ideas.

• Manage and mentor an Associate Content Creator, guiding their contributions to content ideation, scripting, production, editing and community moderation.
,
• Work cross-functionally with video production, editorial, SEO, lifecycle and social media teams to ensure seamless content distribution.

• Stay ahead of YouTube’s evolving best practices, testing new formats and innovate storytelling approaches to resonate with audiences and keep pace with competitors.
Requirements
• Proven expertise in video strategy for both long-form and short-form content, with a strong track record of growing and engaging audiences on YouTube.

• Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills, with experience developing compelling, data driven content.

• Deep understanding of YouTube SEO, audience psychology, and retention strategies to drive growth.
,
• Experience in health and wellness content creation and a passion for making complex health topics accessible and engaging.

• Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable video strategies.
,
• Experience managing a team or mentoring junior creatives.
,
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and successfully meet deadlines.
Nice-to-haves
• Basic understanding of animation tools like After Effects.
