AVP, Business Development - Life Sciences

Reveal HealthTech is a dedicated healthcare life sciences focused technology services company - helping our clients with a range of AI and product engineering services. We are seeking an experienced Associate Vice President (AVP) of Business Development to drive the expansion of our Life Sciences business. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire and grow client relationships, focusing on AI/ML/GenAI-driven solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. This role requires a strong ability to identify business opportunities, cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers, and effectively communicate the value of Reveal’s AI capabilities, technology, and data solutions to address industry challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand Reveal’s presence in the Life Sciences sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, R&D, and Real-World Evidence (RWE).
  • Stay updated on industry trends in AI/ML, GenAI, cloud technologies, and competitive landscapes to maintain a strategic advantage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success) to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Develop and present compelling value propositions and proposals to address unique client challenges.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets and exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to understand client needs, identify new opportunities, and craft innovative solutions.
  • Create structured client deliverables, including presentations, proposals, and supporting documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in consulting, technology, or life sciences firms.
  • Strong industry expertise in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, or Medical Devices.
  • Proven track record of client relationship management and business development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with AI/ML and Data Analytics, including their applications within the Life Sciences sector.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Established network within pharma and life sciences industries.
  • Prior experience leading biopharma/client projects in AI/GenAI.
  • Deep understanding of biopharma operations and commercial strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
