Role Outline
The purpose of this role is to position RAD as the incumbent for our industry-disruptive solutions.
Specifically, the Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a crucial role in the sales team by identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound activities. The BDR will be responsible for defining talk tracks, qualifying leads, setting appointments, and supporting the overall sales process to ensure the achievement of revenue targets within the agreed upon markets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through strategic research, networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Qualify potential clients and qualify prospects by evaluating their business needs and alignment with RAD’s AI-driven security solutions.
- Work with Revenue Operations leader to identify target markets.
- Targets will be “end users”.
- Pipeline Development:
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by initiating first conversations and fostering relationships with prospective clients.
- Nurture leads until they are ready to be handed off to the sales team for closing.
- Outbound Prospecting:
- Conduct 250+ outbound activities per week, including phone calls, emails, and social media engagement, to introduce RAD's solutions and qualify opportunities.
- Proactively seek out key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries like logistics, manufacturing, retail, and municipalities.
- Create scripts for the various personas and verticals targeted
- CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions and updates in the CRM of the organization’s choosing
- Track leads and ensure timely follow-ups, moving prospects through the sales funnel effectively.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams:
- Work closely with the head of revenue operations and the entire sales team to ensure seamless handoffs of qualified leads.
- Provide feedback on market trends, prospect challenges, and RAD’s competitive positioning.
- Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of RAD’s autonomous security products, including ROSA, RIO, AVA, Light My Way, RADDOG LE, ROAMEO, ROSS, RAM, AIR, SARA and others.
- Garner basic security understanding to be able to have a conversation with end users.
- Communicate product benefits and features effectively to prospective clients.
- Supplemental to the primary goal, and in support of the stated goal, additional expected activities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and executing strategic reach out plan to achieve targets and expand RAD’s customer base.
- Possibly support the sales team to focus on customers/prospects to understand their business needs and objectives and match to RAD solutions.

Qualifications- Minimum 3 years working in a sales role in a structured professional strategic sales role
- Desire to be part of a hard-working, ‘always-on’, success driven sales team
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or related roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office
- High level of enthusiasm, motivation to succeed and a positive attitude

$65,000 - $75,000 a year
