Digital Marketing Specialist - Octopus by RTG

Octopus by RTG is enabling a key partner organization to build their digital hub in Egypt looking for the right pioneers to work on exciting AI Projects.

Octopus is specialized in rapidly assembling remote global tech teams that are fully aligned with the culture and practices of a particular brand. By providing tailored hubs to suit its clients needs, Octopus gives companies all the advantages of remote work and offshoring without all the negatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue across social media, e-commerce platforms, and other digital channels.
  • Optimize paid campaigns (PPC, social media ads) to maximize ROAS and achieve sales targets.
  • Align brand messaging and sales strategies with customer insights by collaborating with the marketing team.

2. Performance Marketing

  • Manage and execute campaigns involving audience segmentation, targeting, bid management, and conversion tracking.
  • Leverage analytics and A/B testing to enhance ad creatives, landing pages, and audience targeting, improving conversion rates and reducing acquisition costs.

3. Martech & Sales Funnel Optimization

  • Use martech tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing, automation) to enhance engagement, lead nurturing, and conversion tracking.
  • Oversee the customer journey and sales funnel, identify optimization opportunities, and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

4. Project Management

  • Plan, execute, and oversee digital sales projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from marketing, tech, and product teams to align on goals, timelines, and resources.

5. Technical Troubleshooting & Ticket Management

  • Understand backend, frontend, and core digital systems; ensure optimal website and application performance by working closely with IT teams.
  • Track tech support tickets, prioritize critical issues, and ensure timely resolutions.

6. Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Monitor campaign performance, site traffic, and conversion metrics using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions and optimize digital sales strategies.

7. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Provide senior management with regular updates on digital sales performance, including key metrics, ROI, and improvement recommendations.
  • Present actionable insights and customer behavior trends to cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in digital sales or performance marketing within insurance, fintech, airlines, or e-commerce industries.
  • Performance Marketing: Proficient in social media ad platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), PPC, and retargeting.
  • Martech Knowledge: Familiar with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Project Management: Strong skills in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of backend and frontend systems; ability to identify and document technical issues for resolution.
  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled in data analysis with tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of presenting data and insights effectively to senior management.
