Overview

The organization is seeking a General Manager to oversee the daily operations of Atrium Academy, ensure smooth program execution, and collaborate closely with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives. Acting as the primary Program Manager for existing offerings, this individual will implement process improvements and automation wherever possible. They will also work with the program operations team to scale and initiate programs, focusing on enhancing student learning experiences and streamlining operational processes to maximize the organization’s ability to deliver.

Key Responsibilities

- Operational Leadership

  - Direct day-to-day program activities, ensuring optimal use of resources and efficient processes.

  - Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to maintain program quality and momentum.

- Program Management & Automation

  - Serve as the current Program Manager for existing programs, focusing on continuous improvement and workflow automation.

  - Assess and refine processes to reduce manual tasks and enhance scalability.

- Strategic Roadmapping & Planning

  - Collaborate with the CEO to develop mid- and long-term strategies that align with Atrium Academy’s objectives.

  - Establish a clear, actionable roadmap for program milestones, including MVPs for end-of-program initiatives such as alumni relations, hackathons (“Hookathons”), and partnerships.

- Cross-Functional Coordination

  - Work with the Technical Recruiter and other operational team members to ensure the academy’s offerings scale effectively.

  - Coordinate timelines and deliverables across departments (admissions, marketing, community engagement) to maintain alignment and accountability.

- Project Management & Accountability

  - Oversee task management tools (e.g., Linear, Trello) to track progress and meet deadlines.

  - Serve as a “task master,” holding teams and individuals accountable for deliverables.
