Roshal’s Ultrasound Technologists perform a variety of routine and emergency ultrasound imaging and other sonographic procedures with minimal supervision, requiring independent judgment.
Ultrasound Technologist Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures (OB, general, and vascular).
Communicate pertinent clinical information and ultrasound findings to the radiologist.
Manage High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures and documentation proficiently.
Displays effective utilization of PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data
Ultrasound Technologist Requirements:
Minimum one (1) year of ultrasound imaging experience is required.
RDMS certification is required
RVT certification is preferred
Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Must provide proper credential documentation per company, client, and state requirements.
Must be up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check.
Must have a current BLS/CPR
