Press/Pro Assistant

This is a 3rd shift position 10pm - 6am (paid shift differential)

• Ensure paper or job related raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are supplied to the Press Operators to ensure a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation
• Recycle old/discarded plates
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation
• Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recylcling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates

• Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16 - $17 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
