Adjunct Head Varsity Girls Squash Coach

Rye Country Day School is seeking a Head Varsity Girls’ Squash Coach beginning November 10, 2025. Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches. Specific responsibilities of the position include: 

• Ability to teach the basic fundamentals and strategies of squash
• Creating an exciting,challenging and safe environment each day
• Collaborating with the Director of Squash in planning and communication
• Communicating with players, coaches, opponents in a professional manner
• Strong commitment to punctuality and preparation

Desired qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-years successful coaching experience with adolescents in this age group
• Experience in playing and/or coaching at a collegiate level
• A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community
• Energetic and enthusiastic, flexible and patient
• Candidate must have a valid work card or green card.

Salary range:$7,500 - $10,000 depending on level of play and coaching experience
