Senior ML Engineer

The Role : Senior ML Engineer

Develop cutting edge behavioural science solutions using ML, LLM and associated technologies. 

Fractional role, 2 days per week (16 hours) initially.

Key Responsibilities 

• Ownership of the full technical stack  

• Rapid, high-quality development of web and mobile Apps and services 

• Integrations with partner and customers platforms 

• Contribute to AI assistant prompt development work (led by our clinical experts) 

Technologies / Experience 

• Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, et al. 

• LLM for AI assistants: OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure, etc. 

• RAG optimisation 

• Database optimisation for ML at scale 

• Strong skills in MLOps practices, including experience with  

• CI/CD pipelines  

• containerisation 

• model versioning 

• monitoring tools 

• automated testing frameworks for ML systems 

Qualifications & Experience 

Essential 

• At least 7 years experience as a developer / engineer / data scientist 

• At least 5 years direct experience with AI 

• At least 2 years experience developing and maintaining LLM solutions in production 

• Referenceable experience optimising RAG and AI solutions in production 

• Referenceable experience of full stack deployments 

 Also of interest 

• Prior experience with behavioural science and healthcare experience will be of interest. 

This is a part-time contract role 2 days per week / 16 hours.
