About the Opportunity: We are a leading player in the financial technology industry, specializing in mortgage servicing through innovative SaaS-based solutions. As a key member of our Finance department, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team.

 

Your day-to-day at Sagent:

Financial Expertise and Analysis:
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of complex financial models that provide actionable intelligence to business leaders to optimize business performance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial reports.
  • Analysis of monthly results with ability to get to root cause.  
  • Formulate standard monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and stakeholder decision support. 
  • Partner closely with the accounting team to ensure expenses are booked accurately.
  • Serve as a finance liaison to the business and members of the executive team.
  • Engage in FP&A process improvement activities which include reporting automaton, streamlining, and other initiatives to reduce turnaround time and improve accuracy.
  • Engage in special projects as needed.
  • Team player with flexibility to tackle diverse opportunities.

 

We would love to hear from you if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • 4-6 years of Finance experience
  • Excellent with Microsoft Excel and proficient with PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare reports in a timely and effective manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating with all levels of management
  • Ability to create and improve processes and complex models
  • Experience with Planful and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a plus
